The DCC administration staff consists of three employees: the Executive Director, the Director of Operations, and the Executive Assistant.

Diane Lind, former supervisor at the Burnsville Police Department Communications Center, was appointed as Interim Executive Director effective July 1st, 2010. The Executive Director oversees the strategic direction of the DCC, works with all three committees (Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and the Operations Committee), and develops the DCC annual budget.

Rose Kructhen, former supervisor of the Lakeville Police Department Communications Center, assumed her position as Interim Director of Operations on July 19th, 2010. The Director of Operations in in charge of DCC daily activities, including direct supervision of the dispatch supervisors.
Jennifer Hildebrandt

Jennifer Hildebrandt has served as the Executive Assistant since October 2006, providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Director of Operations, documenting board and committee meetings, and responding to inquiries from the public, staff and member agencies. Jennifer also acts as the benefits liaison and is the Center's only administrative personnel.
On January 1, 2007, the DCC assumed operational responsibility for the 5 existing PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points) in Dakota County. The existing staff members transitioned to DCC employment at that time and continued to operate from the existing PSAPs until the consolidated center was ready for service in December, 2007. In mid-2007, the DCC added two technical support specialists to support the technology systems critical to our 24/7 operational needs.
